Draeger X-plore® 8000 Hood for Helmet -

For chemical hood applications requiring head protection, select either our Z89 helmet or bump cap shell for added protection. The outer hood is available in both Dupont™ Tychem® 2000 or 4000 material.

Draeger X-plore 8000 helmet/bump cap and hood combination- This combination means wearing an additional hood over the head protection. You can combine the hood with either a helmet or a bump cap (both without visor). This keeps the high value head protection from becoming contaminated. Thanks to the Tychem® material used for the hood, this combination also provides a high level of chemical resistance.
